Description

These ten boards must be used in conjunction with 1-blocks (cubes) which fit into the grooves on each board. Children become familiar with characteristic configurations of various quantities. They come to sense the difference between odd and even numbers.

The pocket-sized flip book includes the best and most frequently played games for the Counting Board from Margaret Stern’s Experimenting With Numbers.

The book is 5 by 4 inches, made out of sturdy cardstock and can be easily balanced on the teacher’s knee as she teaches the game. The bottom pages contain a picture of the game and the top pages explain the lesson. Each of the book's three sections contains skills that are most appropriate for a designated age group.
